Relax, Restore & Revive – January Restorative Yoga Class
Friday 29th January 2016
19:00 – 21:00
Venue: Newton Leys Community Centre, Saint Helena Avenue, MK3 5FJ

During the winter months our bodies want to slow down and hibernate with nature, although we continue to rush around trying to keep up with today’s pace of life and forgetting to just stop, breath and just be.

Whether you are a regular yogi or perhaps you have never practiced yoga before, this practice is for everybody’s body!

Restorative yoga poses help us learn to relax and rest deeply and completely. This delicious class consists of supported yoga poses which are practiced by candlelight and soft relaxing music making this the best gift you can give yourself.

During deep relaxation the organ systems of the body are completely benefitted. Whilst bringing symmetry to the body other results include deep relaxation which can reduce blood pressure, serum triglycerides and blood sugar levels, and also increase the “good cholesterol” levels, as well as improve digestion and fertility. Other benefits include eliminate and reduce muscle tension, insomnia and fatigue.

Treat yourself to this delicious class to nourish, nurture and restore your energy.

image1We work very hard in our lives, and while we may sleep, we rarely take time to rest. We are all in need of nourishing and nurturing especially before we move in to the busy Christmas period. We tend to burn ourselves out and stress levels are very high around this time of year which is why it’s important to give yourself some time out. It was so popular last year and the general feedback was

“Can we do this every week?” “The class wasn’t long enough” “I felt amazing after the class and loved every minute of it”.

This year I will be teaching a two hour restorative class you will be so rested and relaxed that you will just float home after the class.

I did not know what to expect when I went to Tracey’s Yoga Restorative class at the end of Jan 16.
Honestly I can say it was a purifying, relaxing and energy giving 2hr session.
Tracey was very clear in he approach to the subject and made it an enjoyable experience.
I would highly recommend anyone who is suffering from very busy life’s, to go along to one of these classes. It helped me find some peace and chill out time.
The day after felt revitalised and ready for the world.
Thanks so much for the event Tracey.
